No worries mate. It's easy with a help of few programs: Software: CS Photoshop 2 (or whichever version you have) Addon: Fluid Mask 3 (install before loading Photoshop) and it should be showing in your "Filters" tab. Ok try this: Download any image - i.e. http://i44.tinypic.com/2kgcqs.jpg. Load Photoshop. Load the image. Go to "Filters" tab and locate the "Fluid Mask" addon. Go to it. Use "Delete Local brush" (left panel/tools) to remove the big chunk around the flames. Right click on the flames select "Auto Fill with Keeps". It should turn green - that means you want to keep this part (the letter and the flames). Click "Create Cut-Out" button which is on your left tools or go Image/Create Cut-Out. Done! Great the background is gone but the flames still don't look right. Click back to "Workspace" tab and select "Blend Exact Brush" in the tools. Make the size of the brush smaller because you only want to trace the edges of the flames. Then just trace it around the letter and click the create cut-out. Keep doing this until the flames look better. Of course this is easier if the background is one color like in this case. If you have trouble theres a bunch of tutorials for it. Just Open Fluid Mask and go to last tab "Help" and click "Tutorial". Or just go here: http://www.vertustech.com/fluidMask/manual_tutoria ls.html Also I use "Background Eraser Tool" in to patch up the image - if the Fluid Mask didn't do good job. Hopefully that helps. Paul
