Tutorials and Rights Management
Sunday, September 7th, 2008
Hey guys, Been a while since a significant update was made to the site, but better late than never right?

First off, that pesky Tutorials button at the top of the site FINALLY does something! That's right, tutorials are finally here. As of now the tutorials will only be video, and you must be pre-approved before you can submit. If you know how to make video tutorials and want to see your work featured up on the site, drop a line via the contact form, or hit up a mod in the forums.

Secondly, a number of people have asked about how they can use the resources uploaded to the site. Basically speaking, if an author uploaded something here, it was implied that it was for personal and non-commercial use only. Now, things will be a lot more clear.

Effective immediately, upon uploading a stock image or PSD file, you will be prompted to select an appropriate Creative Commons license to accompany the work. For more information on the different types of Creative Commons licenses click the "i" icon.

The selected license will be displayed on the PSD or Stock page so that other users in the community have a clear idea on how you are allowing your work to be (re)used.

Many more minor tweaks will be made to the site in the next week or so, but if you have any feedback or suggestions, please drop a line here
