yea I use tiny pic and it dont shrink it down. If your making a DIV overlay use imageshack.us

what size is your background image and what size is your screen resolution set at? i generally design my banners and backgrounds at 1005 x 603 pixels. they always fit perfectly in internet explorer with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. it's probably your image host. especially if you're using a free one.
